Riding and horses
I was 3 years old when I first wanted to ride but there were no possibilities to do so in Finland in the sixties. My first ride was on a cow and then a working horse. Riding schools came to Finland in the seventies and before that you could ride army horse on certain days in a week.

I was allowed to ride and drive a FInnish horse Ilo who was owned by an old cawalryman. My father promised to buy me a horse if I went to college. So we bought a 5 year old horse Zimny from Poland buut when we would pick him up in Helsinki, the horse was not on the ship! So I ended up buying a problematic thoroughbred mare Lotus instead.
Lotus really taught me how to handle horses. I broke her to driving when she was 14 and was driving with her on mini-skies around the village. Our top palcement was bronze medal in regional dressage. She was a former race horse born in Sweden and I did some show jumping with her and we usually had the best time in the show but we won quite a lot as well.
After my daughter Mnni was born I started teaching riding at Katajasuon Ridining stables.

Lotus had a daughter Sabine and I competed her in driving, dressage and showjumping. kilpailimme
I also got a licence to drive in trotting races.
Later my sister in-laws dressage horse. arabian gelding Zaire came to me and Sabine went to my neeces after having three foals by arabian stallions Darfas and Eldorado.
Darfas (Dardir – Fuksja -Anarchista)
Darfas came to me 1984 and started my everlasting love to arabian horses. Since that I have imported dozens of arabian horses and the I was introduced to Western Riding, that I started in Finland 1988. Next year I started my company Scandinavian Arabians Ltd to import western equipment and horses. I bought my first two mares in the US: Nefretetetoo (Eukaliptus – Nefretete-Gondolier) ja Soannja (Polak-Soheila-Borexpo) and th with my husband we bought a trotting stallion Gladstone Lobell. Nefretetetoo was on foal and got a filly Nefisa (Bask Clasix – Nefretetetoo – Eukaliptus), who wontwo Best In Shows and many other prizes in horse shows.
1991 we build a new barnjoka palkittiin monin palkinnoin arabi- ja and the first horse to be born in it was Sheba (Soannja- Polak -Borexpo) 
Pomar
After Darfas I did not buy an othe arabian stallion before 2003 when I bough a former race horse Wytok in Poland. Before Wytok I had leased stallions Eldorado (Espartero-Nebulosa-Negatiw), Pomar (Pohaniec-Maritsa-Arax), Ramses (Fikri-Nora-Ibn Fakri), Nimbusz (Aladdin-Nidshem-Gwarny) ja Primo (Engano-Polka-Pohaniec) and Monograf (Monogramm-Polonina-Boryslaw) ja kotona minulla oli Grimaldi (Darfas-Amurath Ghazia-Spartacus). I was given Monograf later on.

I have been a member of the Finnish Raiders Assciation since 1967, 1974 I was one of the founders of the first riding club in my area, 1977 my daughter Minni was born, 1978 we started Katajasuo Riders and I was the chair in 1980 I had two jobs and studied and imported arabian horses, 1989 founded Scandinavian Arabians and started importing western equipment, 1991 we a new stable with 12 boxes, 1993 we build a small house on the ranch and 1994 Western RIdining was accepted as one of the disciplines in Finnish RIders Association, 1995 I bought my first 3 quarter horses, on the pictureSportys Bonde Lil is showwing wht the ground tie means.

1996 we built an ”English stable” with 4 boxes, 1997 I completed FRA`s coach training Level I, 2000 he old mainbuilding was renovated and we moved into it, 2002 I completed FRA´s coach training Level II Dressage and Western Riding and Centered Riding Instructor Level I.mentaja, 2004 we bilt an indorr arena. 2007 Centered Riding my CR instructor status was raised to Level II and 2011 Centered Riding status to Level III. Finnish Entrepeneurs awarded me with a golden medal for my career as a entrepeneur and also as a chair of a Small Business Association. Also Finnish Rider´s Association awarded me with a golden plate for my actions in riding clubs. 2014 I as one of the founders of a Centered Riding Finland and went to WAWEn (World Association for Working Equitation) judges seminar and also FRA accepted me as a coach in Working Equitation. 2018 my CR-status was upgraded to Level IV Apprentice. 2019 we planned to move to Spain to spend our pension time there but I got very sick and then Covid happened and we stayed in Finland. 2021 I was chocen a a president of Centered Riding Inc, 2023 Centered Riding status was upgraded to Centered Riding Instructor Level IV. 
I still ride several times a week although I have arthritis in my joints and my back is broken a couple of times, I have scoliosis, lordosis, spondylosis and stenosis in my spine. I am an eternal student and I like music very much and enjoy playing my flutes.

Private life and dogs

I am born in Kotka My mother was at home and my father was an entrepeneur. I am the youngest of 4 children. At birth my right hip was dislocated but I learned to walk normally and went to school at the age of 6. I could do all sports at school, had good hand strength and could run quickly short distances both of which have helped a lot with horses,
During school I got money by working at the cemetery. School went quite well, I especially liked languages and biology but I liked dogs and horses more. I wanted to be a veterinarian but when I found out what it included I changed my mind. I was interested in photography very early. 
Me and my dad, from whom I also learned to play acordian. He asked me to work in his busines for a couple of moths after I graduated and that time stetched into 20 years. had died and concentrated on horses. I educated myself alonside with two jobs as amarketing and financial professional commercial Russian as an additive. I worked with horses and in the logistic and contract packaking company that my father had founded, first in marketing and later as a CEO. I sold the business after my father died 1995 and concentrated on horses and my tackshop which I had for 30 years.. llinen venäjä.
Dogs
My first dog was a Scottish shepherd Quickly who moved to us from Spain with my aunt´s husband´s orchestra. 
My mother liked boxers so the next dog was a male boxer named Robin..
With my own money I bought bearded collie Nalle.

I could not find an other border collie in Finland so I imported Fia from Sweden and a couple of years later her half sister Jesse.
Jesse had seven halfbreed puppies and two of the stayed with us black and white Vili and brown Pulla.

Moya moved to us from Lapland and Hipsu came a couple of years later and the last one is Rafael.
